You Live Where?

Ok. There was a time whenever I told people where I lived they would chuckle and ask again the name of it. I couldn't blame them. Then they would ask where it is and I would have to further explain why we would move to such a place. After all, this general area carries a biased not-so-good stigma with it, but times have changed, and so have I.
I will no longer feel like I have to justify anything. I am proud and content of where I live.
A few weeks ago the hills were all lush green from the rain, and now they are smothered in yellow, orange, or purple flowers. I think we got lucky with this place. Everything new and a mountain such as this photo only 200 meters away.
So, for me, no more diverting the conversation about my town, or why I'm there. I love it and will stand for it. It think it's good for families to find themselves content, or at least to seek out the positive where they live. After all, bad things and bad people are all over the earth. Hate to say it, ... really hate to say it since it was a sign my mom made in Relief Society that I stared at for 18 years... "Home is where the heart is".

love the header and pic of the boys--I think it's funny that we are 5 minutes away from you guys and we are in a different city all together. I think once we get more amenities things will be even better!

I love the new pictures. ever since my parents took jack on a hike up that hill, I have been wanting to go back and snap some spring photos.

Maybe I should take ryan with me. those are beautiful shots.

where is that exactly? Those pictures are really fantastic. Is that is your back yard or in a field nearby? Where did you catch that awesome sunset?

Both pics are of the same place (and the header) on the hill behind our house. The sunset was a few months ago, but the wild flowers didn't bloom like this last year so its a treat this year.

Where's my field of flowers? Probably under the 12 inches of rain we got this week. Maybe when it all dries up we'll see some green.

CUTE PICS!
